High School Voice Lessons (Choir)

Offered in cooperation with the High School Music Department and Community Education.

Semester 2 - if you took lessons first semester, select "Returning Voice Students -". If you are new to voice lessons, select "New Voice Students -".

Students have the opportunity to study voice during the school day with Ms. Dahl. Regular weekly lessons allow for vocal growth, careful exploration of the student's voice, development of skill and exploration of literature. Private lessons also allow for preparation of individual student goals which can be, but not limited to, Honor and All-State choir auditions, school and community theatre productions, Solo and Ensemble contest, etc.

Absence and make-up policy:
If a student is going to be absent from a lesson, you must contact Mrs. Dahl 48-hours prior to the scheduled lesson. For sudden illness, please contact Mrs. Dahl prior to the start of the school day. With prior notice of an absence, every effort will be made to make-up the missed lesson during the registration period. Scheduling a make-up lesson will be the responsibility of the student.

If a student decides to be absent from a lesson without prior notification (even of illness), s/he forfeits the lesson and will NOT be given a make-up lesson. If a student will be gone (vacation, field trip or school conflict), s/he must make arrangements in advance to reschedule the lesson. If prior notification is NOT given, s/he forfeits the lesson.

Students are welcome to trade lesson times with another student for known conflicts. Trading lessons will be the responsibility of the student and must be agreed upon by both parties.

All lessons will be made up within the registration period if there is an absence by the teacher.

Your registration may be put on a waitlist, that does not mean you didn't get in.
